Day 6: Awareness on moratorium starts in Newfoundland

The High Seas Moratorium Campaign has hit the streets in Newfoundland! The message is clear: No Habitat, No Fish. This photo was sent in from Portugal Cove - St. Philip's on the Avalon Peninsula of Newfoundland.

It takes the next generation to remind us we have to look after the whole planet for them.
Children always see things more simply - and we think they just don't understand. But really - it's not that complicated when there's a real possibility of having no healthy seafood to eat, no beautiful corals and fish to dive and snorkel with, and no medicine and food from the lush underwater gardens, no more fishing communities.
